Hygienic Art, Inc is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to creating an enriching cultural experience to both residents and visitors to the city of New London as well as the people of Connecticut. We provide opportunities for growth to emerging artists through our Artists Co-Op Residence Program, and by creating community partnerships with local organizations to ensure accessibility to the arts. Recently, the Hygienic Art Park Project evolved from its conception as a public arts garden to the actual construction of a sculpture garden and outdoor performing arts theater. The implications are enormous for the advancement of art and economic development in downtown New London. Culture, art, community and prosperity all become reality as a result of this initiative.
