The Next Phase of Hygienic
Hygienic has provided thirty-eight years of quality arts and cultural programming to Southeastern Connecticut because of your on-going support. Your contributions have not only made Hygienic the premier arts organization in the region, but have also provided thousands of people with access to arts while providing a revolutionary platform for hundreds of artists to successfully launch their careers. We exist to provide visionary arts programming to our community.
The next phase of Hygienic includes the Amphitheater project, a covering for Art Park stage and audience to be protected in inclement weather and transform the Art Park from one season performance venue to a three season venue. The architectural form of pavilion is that of the structural "Super Trees" with a large canopy that provides shade in the day and comes alive with an exhilarating display of light and sound at night. Meanwhile, it collects and harvests rainwater for the gardens, art park trees, as well as any need sanitary water for public washrooms, water closest and gardening.
Hygienic makes a difference in the lives of people every single day. Your support guarantees that art lives on not just today but in generations to come.
“In addition to being able to serve the resident population through providing access to the arts, music, performance and cultural programs, we will continue to bring visitors to downtown New London and triple our impact on growing the local economy,” - Sarah Mckay, Director | Read more at TheDay.com
