Hygienic Art is happily celebrating 30 years of progressive action in the arts. Initiatives started by the organization have led to the creation of an annual show that now features nearly 500 artists, the redevelopment of an historic building in the heart of downtown New London, creation of a year-round gallery space and arts cooperative, as well as the building of the gorgeous Art Park that now plays host to a wide array of community events.Posted by Frank Shifreen on March 8, 2009 at 8:04pm — 2 Comments
