About the new Hygienic Art website.

We hope you will take advantage of the tools available on this site to join our online community and create a dialogue about the Arts here in Southeastern Connecticut. Joining is free and there's no obligation -- you'll get automatic access to all Hygienic event and programming info, auto email notifications if you want, your own page to express yourself, Photo and Video sections for your art, plus the opportunity to meet some great people and join some cool groups. Like to talk about art? You can start in Talkabout and Blogs soon as you sign up. If you haven't already, we hope you will consider becoming a supporting member to help enable future programming and stay in tune with the many other facets of Hygienic Art (and get some nifty supporting member benefits.)

Hygienic Art is happily celebrating 30 years of progressive action in the arts. Initiatives started by the organization have led to the creation of an annual show that now features nearly 500 artists, the redevelopment of an historic building in the heart of downtown New London, creation of a year-round gallery space and arts cooperative, as well as the building of the gorgeous Art Park that now plays host to a wide array of community events.
